Anchorage strength and ductility in shear tests
نویسندگان
چکیده
Article shows shear tests results for anchorage using bent foundation bolts 16, 24 and 36 mm in diameter torque-controlled undercut anchors 12, 16 20 diameter. Load-displacement diagrams were acquired loads static dynamic cyclic uncracked cracked concrete. Cyclic loading pattern simulated seismic on anchors. Shear allowed to estimate influence of cracks strength ductility anchorage.

A cross-shear deformation for optimizing the strength and ductility of AZ31 magnesium alloys
Magnesium alloys have recently attracted great interest due their lightweight and high specific strength. However, because of their hexagonal close-packed structure, they have few active slip systems, resulting in poor ductility and high mechanical anisotropy at room temperature. In the present work, we used a cross-shear deformation imposed by a differential speed rolling (DSR) technique to im...
متن کاملPush-out tests on shear studs in high strength concrete
A lot of push-out tests of shear studs embedded in normal strength concrete were conducted. So current design code methods of the shear studs are based on the test results of studs embedded in normal strength concrete. It also appeared that the strength of connector and the concrete strength are the main factors affecting the behavior of shear connections. But push-out test data of studs embedd...
متن کاملShear band formation and ductility in nanotwinned Cu
The ductility and plastic flow behavior of highly aligned nanotwinned copper produced by interrupted magnetron sputtering is investigated. Tensile tests were performed at various strain rates at both room and liquid nitrogen (77 K) temperatures. Higher ductility and strength are reported for all samples tested at 77 K. The observed inhomogeneous deformation and shear band propagation are discus...
